Physicians Formula is throwing it back to the 80s with its new ‘The Breakfast Club’ makeup collection. 

The beauty brand partnered with Universal Brand Development to reimagine the iconic 1985 film, “The Breakfast Club.” The launch marks the beauty brand’s first-ever licensed collection.

The new limited edition Physicians Formula makeup collection is seven products inspired by the film’s characters. It “dives into memorable moments from the film and sparks nostalgia with every swatch,” the brand says. There are “princess-inspired” lipsticks, along with “detention-inspired” mascara and palettes.

Each product is infused with the brand’s proprietary butter blend of Murumuru, Cupuaçu, and Tucuma, sourced from the Amazon. 

The Breakfast Club makeup Collection by Physicians Formula includes:

• Saturday Detention Face Palette—Bronzers, highlighters, and blushes in versatile matte and multidimensional finishes.


• Being Bad Feels Pretty Good Eyeshadow Palette—12 eyeshadow shades, ranging from buttery mattes and shimmery satins to show-stopping metallics. The soft, creamy texture can be applied wet or dry.


• Detention Mascara—Delivers full volume and length with keratin and the blackest of black pigments for dramatic lashes. The formula includes essential fatty acids and pro-vitamins to soften, condition, and moisturize.


• The Princess Lipstick—Channel the character with long-wearing, full coverage color and a moisturizing semi-matte finish. Available in three shades, The World Is an Imperfect Place, Get Real, and I Don’t Like Monday’s.
